Our core vision as a fellowship is encapsulated in our motto, “A NEW LEGAL PROFESSION ANCHORED ON CHRIST”. We take conscious steps to help law students grow spiritually and excel in their academics; it would not be out of place to say we are balanced people who excel in the things of the spirit and also in our academics. 

 

To this end, we have several activities throughout the session, including King’s Court, a main service at the Chapel Auditorium, an Academic Symposium, a Choir and Drama Concert, and the CLASFON LASU Convention. 

King’s Court is held from 8am to 9am at the Chapel Lawn, Chapel of Light, where members of the Fellowship come together to commit each week into God’s hands. The main service is from 12:30pm to 2:30pm, and the Academic Symposium brings in senior members of the fellowship and lawyers in active practice to provide real-time experience in the legal profession and inspire us with amazing success stories. The Choir and Drama Concert is an opportunity to fellowship with God through the ministry of songs and drama presentations. 

 

The CLASFON LASU Convention is an annual retreat where over 200 students separate themselves from every distraction and noise to solely focus on communing and fellowshipping with God. This is a time of renewal, refreshing, and encounters, and it is open to all law students and other interested students across the university.

Conclusively, sports, games, and love feasts are organized to foster peace, unity, and togetherness among members of the fellowship. These activities not only promote a sense of community, but they also provide an opportunity for members to bond and develop meaningful relationships.
