Members of the chambers are drawn from all levels in the faculty. The chambers helps students acquire skills which are required in the ceaselessly-advancing legal profession. It also assists students in attaining the pinnacle of academic excellence, teach them court practices through court procedures simulation (moot and mock proceedings), hone their research skills, and a lot more. Most importantly, the chambers prepare students for the veritable competitive labour market through strategically employed measures.
The chambers’ mission is to mould students who will be able to compete with A-grade law students drawn from the upper echelons of the law academic sphere.
The chambers’ vision is to build students who will become towering figures in the various spheres of the legal profession.
The chambers has since its inception been the recipient of numerous laurels among which include: the 1st runner-up of The SAA Moot & Mock Competition—the most anticipated advocacy competition in the faculty—for the year 2023; the chambers also produced one of the overall best counsel of the competition; the winner of the debate round of DAP; the chambers also produced the best debater in the competition; the Chambers of the Year for the year 2018; and a lot more.
